Varese Sarabande Criticisms

edit

This section should be left off since it's an isolated incident and comes off as an attack on the label and is a violation of Wikipedia rules. If you can't cite the composer or a professional engineer from any published source, then it seems to be isolated. Recordings are subjective and can be interpreted many ways and as a film music fan I feel this was an issue with a few devoted fans who were upset and not a representation of the opinions of the film music community.

Varese Sarabende Criticism

edit

There are many expamples around - especially on Hydrogenaudio.org where detailed measurments are presented. These proove that a lossy source was used. It is also stated who the mastering engineer was, where it was mastered etc. Also presented are several notes about the customer unfriendly reaction of Varese. These statements and sources are far from being unimportant and they also serve as a fact of the general decline of audio quality on CDs (see: Loudness War). It is therefore important that this section stays online. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SonicGay (talkcontribs) 04:12, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
