Is ".NET Framework" officially or commonly abbreviated ".NET Fx"? Another thing, aren't all the (System.*) namespaces available for the .NET Framework? Do we need to say {{yes}} there? --Stefán Örvarr Sigmundsson (talk) 18:32, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it is called .NET Fx informally. So, we can call it .net fx too when discussing, but it is better to avoid using the term in the article text. For the table, we can use it (to keep it within reasonable widths) but should list the full name as a tooltip or something. As for your other question, Silverlight contains the System.Browser namespace, which is not available in .net fx. I am not sure about .net cf (compact framework). --soum talk 16:54, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Btw, I envisioned the .net fx column to have {{yes}} if it is available in all versions. Else it should list the version the namespace was first introduced. --soum talk 17:25, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I see. Good idea. --Stefán Örvarr Sigmundsson (talk) 23:44, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
