October 2018 edit

Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to I Want You (She's So Heavy), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Greyjoy talk 12:49, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

I’m sorry, but you know that Sabbath did hit those genres, right? I’m sorry that I’m inserting all these different types of genres without discussion...but I believe that they hit that genre Sonichasballsofsteel (talk) 13:35, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thank You...I’m terribly sorry...I’m new to this whole editing thing...and I never knew Wikipedia was this complex Sonichasballsofsteel (talk) 13:45, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

No problem :-). We were all new here at one point, and good-faith mistakes are expected with new users; we don't hold mistakes like that against you... just don't continue them or repeatedly make them ;-). Just take the messages and advice given to you and don't be afraid to message myself or other editors on their user talk page and ask questions if you're confused, stuck, or not sure what to do. Myself, or another editor you ask will be happy to help you. It's always better to ask before you do anything you're not 100% certain is okay or correct than to just proceed yourself, but don't let my advice here prevent you from being bold and improving content that you see should be fixed.
Since you're new to Wikipedia, I highly recommend that you go through and complete Wikipedia's new user tutorial before you make any more edits or changes to articles. It will provide you with many helpful walkthroughs, guides, interactive lessons, and other information that will be helpful to you. Most users who take this advice tell me later that it was significantly helpful to them, and led to them being saved hours of time and frustration. Again, I'll be happy to help you if you run into any questions - just message me by clicking here. Happy editing! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 14:25, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
