Please do not readd the trivia sections to this article. They violate the protocols set forward in WP:TRIVIA. Please do not remove this tag either, since the dispute over that information clearly isn't resolved. Discuss any changes you make to that page on its talk page first, to be sure they conform to community consensus. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 23:01, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I have read the essay in WP:TRIVIA. The informations you call "trivia" do not violate any "protocols" set forward in the essay. You are incorrect in your interpretations, and I am not alone in seeing this. I will not get into an edits war with you, but please re-read the essay. Pay special attention to where it says "What this guideline is not - There are a number of pervasive misunderstandings about this guideline and the course of action it suggests: This guideline does not suggest removing trivia sections, or moving them to the talk page. - If information is otherwise suitable, it is better that it be poorly presented than not presented at all. This guideline does not suggest always avoiding lists in favor of prose. - Some information is better presented in a list format. This guideline does not suggest the inclusion or exclusion of any information. - This guideline does not attempt to address the issue of what information should be included in articles — it only gives style recommendations. Issues of inclusion are addressed by content policies." Wiki would be better served by finding ways to organize and incorporate these interesting informations, reather than eliminating them because of a personal interpretation of Wiki guidelines. Thanks for uploading Image:Allan Murray on CNN's ShowBiz Tonight 6-15-07.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Alllan Murray on CNN's ShowBiz Tonight 6-15-07.jpg. The copy called Image:Alllan Murray on CNN's ShowBiz Tonight 6-15-07.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Allan Murray (actor)

edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Allan Murray (actor), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Michael Q. Schmidt (actor)

edit

An editor has nominated Michael Q. Schmidt (actor), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Q. Schmidt (actor) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 08:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
