Somatic Movement Coaching

edit

A tag has been placed on Somatic Movement Coaching, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Andante1980 13:02, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

re: Deleted article

edit

Thanks for contacting me rather than continually recreating the article. First of all, it was never claimed the subject of the article is unsuitable here. It was deleted because it was advertising a certain point of view.

To improve the article, the most basic thing would be to rewrite it. Never ever copy content from other web sites, write it yourself. Start with a lead that summarizes the most important concepts, then delve deeper into it. And it has to be kept neutral, so no marketing speak and promotional wordings. See WP:MoS for style guidelines. Apart from that, we cannot write anything that researched on our own, not even our own opinions. We state everything factually, and that too must be attributed to reliable third party sources (it is preferred to limit using primary source as reference as much as possible) (see WP:CITE for a how-to on citing information). And, needless to say, it must be verifiable by others. I think that should get yous started. Start on the article, and include an {{under construction}} tag on top of it, to alert others that it is being written incrementally. I will drop by whenever I get time to review. All the best.

As a final comment, it is strongly advised that you change your username (or create a new account, which is much less messy a procedure). Your current name indicates a conflict of interest with the subject and it is discouraged strongly. --soum talk 13:40, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
