editI have deleted your page New South Wales bushfires because it is a copyright violation. All text published on Wikipedia must be released by the author under the terms of the GFDL (you acknowledge this every time you click the save button). That article is copyright to CNN. Wikipedia is not a hosting facility and we cannot publish copyright text. Posting copyright violations is serious as it can open the foundation to legal action and undermines the project's primary goal of creating a fully free encyclopedia. - It is a copyright violation because the text is owned by CNN and only they can release it under the terms of the GFDL licence. It is quite irrelevant that you said where it came from; it is still a copyright violation. Everything that you save on Wikipedia is released under the GFDL licence and if you don't own it, you cannot legally release and we cannot keep it. Please look at the text above the save button on the edit page and you will see this text: "Content that violates any copyright will be deleted...You agree to license your contributions under the GFDL."

- I didn't say you did delete the author. You said, "If it were a violation though, you needed only have asked and I would’ve removed it myself." And I'm saying that you couldn't because only administrators can delete pages. And again, I tell you that placing a link to the source does not change the fact that it is a copyright violation. I'm sorry if you're upset about the copyright issue, but you can ask any administrator and they will tell you that what you did is a copyright violation.
