Hi there! Sorry, but writing about fictional characters as if they are real is considered in-universe. If you read the info provided in that link, you will see that writing character articles like biographies is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. In fact, the Edward Cullen article is already tagged for being written in a style that is too in-universe. If other articles, such as Jean Luc Picard, are written this way, then they should probably be changed as well. You are right that this information may be interesting to fans, which is why it is more suitable for a fan wiki. Andrea (talk) 01:17, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
