Hello Susan, thank you for your review and the tips to improve my submissions. While creating my submissions I generally followed the already approved submissions. While Alpari UK or Oanda are considered from the same FOREX sphere, I checked the sources they have cited and there were some leading to not found pages. Can you please help me in determining the reliable sources for my articles. What should I consider to define if the source is reliable?

Thanks in advance Sincerely

Hello Susan, thank you for your help with my Ateronon submission. I was just trying to access it because I still have not formatted the references properly, but they now seem to have disappeared. Is this because someone else is currently editing them? Also, I think it was suggested somewhere that the submission needs more cross-headings? Are there standard Wikipedia cross-headings that should be used? Thanks very much --Meeahlo (talk) 21:00, 15 October 2012 (UTC) MeeahloReply

Meeahlo

Also, do you mean I have created the same submission twice by accident? Meeahlo (talk) 21:05, 15 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Susan. We have been busy adding citations to the article Equality Illinois. But, as you said, I need a change to a non-institutional name. Can/How I change it to my existing personal Wikipedia name, or do I need to create a new one? Michael A. Robinson article edit

Susan, I need help understanding why you have considered our bio for Michael A. Robinson declined and him not worthy...He is working and has worked with A list artists and is a manager for the infamous Aisha Francis...What needs to be edited? I really would like to have him submitted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bmikerob (talkcontribs) 19:55, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Bmikerob. Thanks for getting in touch with me at my talk page but it wasn't me who declined your article. If you look at the bottom of the notice on your talk page you will see it was MrT3366 who declined your article. All I did was welcome you. In any event, I do review articles and may be able to provide some guidance. (By the way please sign your posts when you leave a message on a talk page, it makes it easier to find you - instructions are at the top of my welcome message.)
With respect to the article... First, you may have a conflict that a reviewer might take issue with since your user name suggests you likely are Michael Robinson and/or closely connected with him through the company BmikeRob - writing articles about oneself or someone you are closely connected to is discouraged around here since it is hard to be neutral and objective, both of which are required before an article will be accepted. Please review wikipedia's guidance regarding neutral point of view and conflict of interest information.
Secondly, try to remember that what you are writing is an encyclopedia article so everything in it, particularly personal information about a living person, must be properly sourced. Sources relied upon must not only be independent but reliable. It isn't that MrT3366 didn't think Mr. Robinson to be notable, the decline notice indicates that he rejected the article because your sources didn't establish his notability. The criteria for notability of a person can be found at THIS PAGE. It is a basic requirement that the subject not only be notable but that sufficient independent, reliable sources have discussed him or written about him that his notability is objectively verifiable through those sources. Youtube, standing alone, will not be considered a reliable source. I note, however, in your opening you refer to San Jose Mercury but don't cite it. If you include quotes from newspaper articles, you will need to provide the citation for the article and, preferably, a link to it so people can go to the article and see it. That would be an independent source.
None of the information in your article about Michael Robinson is sourced at all. Information about a living person that may be challenged will be removed from an article. See the help page concerning biographies of living people and on that same page sources for biographies. Sources such as the company website, personal websites, and twitter are not considered to be independent of the subject. Also, reverbnation is a blocked site at Wikipedia so you can not cite it as a source.
It may well be that Michael Robinson is extremely notable but there is no way to verify the information in your article through independent sources at the moment. Please provide sources for the information in your article and resubmit it.
If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact me at my talk page. Snowysusan (talk) 08:38, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Need help in revising/improving an article edit

Hi,

The article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Imexco_General_Ltd. was declined on 21 October 2012.

It is written: "What you can do:" Add citations to secondary reliable sources that are entirely independent of the subject. Find sources: "Imexco General Ltd." – news · books · scholar · JSTOR · free images.

By entering "Imexco General" in Google, there are about 1200 entries, about half of them are relevant links.
There are 4 books published by imexco.

In addition, there are many verifiable and reliable independent sources in the the article itself.

Please help to understand the missing info needed for acceptance.

Rudy A. Mazzocchi edit

Hi Susan,

I am the Executive Administrator of ELENZA who submitted the information regarding Rudy Mazzocchi, (serial entrepreneur, author, venture capitalist, angel investor, etc) that you seemed to have "declined" for an unclear reason. He personally did not prepare the Wikipedia page, but he asked that I use his account information so that he could monitor any edits and changes. Is this the problem?

He is extremely well-known in this industry and recipient of several international business and writing awards.

Thanks you in advance for your reply (and correction of this matter),

Snowysusan-- I need some help, and you are someone that seems to be helpful. I was accused of sock-puppetry and have been banned indefinitely; this accusation is not true, but explanations do not seem to matter. While I can understand the group's intentions, I am attached to an action that is not true. My question or request for help centers around an article that I created in my Sandbox. I would like to finish off this project, which I think is adequately sourced. Is there a way for me to post the information on John F. Kimmons in my current status? Thanks for the help. Bio for my boss edit

Hi Susan, thanks for the welcome. My boss wants me to get another lawyer from our firm a bio on Wikipedia as similar to his as possible. I've copied every bit of formatting and referencing possible from his page onto the new attorney's and nothing I do will get the page accepted and searchable. Need help in revising/improving an article(2) edit

Dear Susan,

"I apologize for not responding to your note sooner." Don't worry...I thank you for your review and comments.
1. "...You have only cited two sources - one showing that the product has FDA approval which does not establish that it is notable, just legal and the other is the company's own website which is neither independent of your subject nor deemed to be reliable."

In the medical business, FDA approval is far from being "only legal". Such an approval is given to companies that proved the safety, effectiveness and clinical usage of the product using the technology. The unique about this company and similar companies which are in Wikipedia, is the novel technologies they use.

2. "You must find articles, newspapers, magazines, scholarly articles, peer reviews, etc., showing that your subject has received significant consideration by reliable third party sources."

As I have indicated, there are many such articles in the internet written by independent and reliable sources.

I will take your comments into consideration, add more references and submit it again for review.

Thanks

About Yuval Avital article for creation edit

Dear Snowysusan,

once again I reviewed the article about Yuval Avital, took away any non-encyclopedic note and cut it shorter. All the subjects in this text are referenced. However it seems that you are still annoyed by the length of this article. If you wish to take a position not of a reviewer but of an editor, please tell me in your opinion which is the correct number of characters in which Avital's article should be limited, and I will cut it shorter.

Best Regards

As per your recommendations I have revised the article, added 5 more references in addition to the previous 2. In addition, there are 17 External Links (some maybe used as reference as well)

Now I am confused as Matthew rejected the old version and not the new one. "This appears to be a duplicate of another submission, Imexco General Ltd., which is also waiting to be reviewed. To save time we will consider the other submission and not this one."

dear susan--thanks for your help with the steven damelin article edit

dear susan--thanks so much for your help with the steven damelin article.

The article looks really great now.

Ive gone through all the references and everything is now ok. Regarding reference 8, if you click on the link that was there: http://www.ima.umn.edu/new-directions/#Past what you need to do is actually scroll down to "current and past new direction professors". That then verifies that damelin was a new directions professor. This is a very competitive award.

Actually the link does also indeed mention that he attended a two week workshop at the IMA but this relates to other work. The reason they put that statement there was because of a book damelin wrote on signal processing also mentioned in this present article which arose from that workshop. Given damelin was a new directions professor they are reporting back on significant achievements of their IMA new directions professors as well.

In one of the links to George Andrews at Penn State, a ~ was missing. Also the word "distingushed" still appears in one place under Committee of Committees so I removed it.

Every reference which is there now is supported by a reliable source, Ive checked the english, typos.

Please let me know if there is anything else you need.

Hope to hear from you re its status.

Bernard Hesling edit

Snowsusan, re your message about proposed article. The first para of article follows Dictionary of Australian Artists Online article because I wrote the DAAO article but it became too long for them, that's why I decided Wikipedia article would be better. Mincht — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mincht (talkcontribs) 05:52, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Snowysusan, Re your queries about my DAAO article on Bernard Hesling. The original DAAO article was written by Joan Kerr in 1996 but it was brief, incomplete and incorrect. Joan Kerr died in 2004. As second contributor I replaced her article with mine last year. The third contributor to the article was 'fishel', the DAAO website administrator, whose contribution was to delete my para numbers and delete 'OAM' after Hesling. 'fishel' said that my article was good but too long for DAAO (which is a dictionary, not an encyclopedia). So I shortened it and am trying Wikipedia. I have now shortened and changed my DAAO article again to make the two articles more dissimilar. regards, Tony Minchin — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mincht (talkcontribs) 07:19, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Neohumanism Review edit

Hi,

Thank you for your review, but I believe that there is some misunderstanding here. You wrote: "Thank you for your submission, but the subject of this article already exists in Wikipedia. You can find it and improve it at New Humanism instead." Unfortunately, the article, New Humanism, is not the subject on which I am writing. There have been many persons whose writings have been described as "neohumanism", but a Wikipedia search for "neohumanism" directs you to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neohumanism#Neohumanism. That is just a single paragraph in a much larger article about Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar.

If you examine the article on Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, you will see that there are several sections that point to a "Main article". It is my opinion that the short paragraph on Neohumanism is good, but it does not do justice to the subject. Hence, a larger "main article" is required. Once the article I have written is accepted, I would then request assistance in creating a redirect of the Neohumanism link on Wikipedia to that main article, which greatly amplifies what is currently given.

Please reconsider your evaluation of my submission on this basis. --Abhidevananda (talk) 11:07, 27 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Francisco Mora Bio edit

10/27/12

Dear Susan, I am responding to your rejection of the Francisco Mora Biography.... What type of references do you need? I have known Mr. Mora for over 25 years, personally met his parents and family, as well as knowing his musical mentors and associates... Also, since Mr. Mora Catlett is not as well-known as Wynton Marsalis or Max roach, there is not a lot written about him.Since I am a newcomer to Wkipedia, i want to know how to do this correctly.
