You have been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent further vandalism, as you did at 2022_Buffalo_shooting.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: .  HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 11:43, 22 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Your reason here: I have been blocked for my vandalism behaviour on the wiki page called, "2022 Buffalo shooting", and I acknowledge that my behaviour is against, wiki's policy. The reason for my vandalism was I was trying to entertain myself, however due to the fact that I did not know the seriousness, that I would get fully banned from editing any Wikipedia page, I also believe that I deserve a second chance to learn from my inappropriate behaviour. The reason for my block in a detailed explanation, was my reapted vandalism on the wiki page. The wiki page I vandalised, was vandalising only the introduction, in order to create dark humour in it. Editors reversed the wiki page to its normal state, and I did the same vandalism for a few times, and eventually stopped. My vandalism evtually led to my ban after stopping. Lastly I have actually edited edits before my vandalism, however I wanted to actually improve edits, because I am trying to understand how to edit wiki in all aspects. I will try not to commit anything against wiki polices, and I highly acknowledge that my behaviour was completely wrong, and I accept full responsibility of my actions. Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate and confirm that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:

    1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
    2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
      • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...),
      • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: ),
      • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: ),
      • and do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
    3. Click edit at your talk page and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
    4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
    5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include any citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: reflist-talk. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
  • Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking using unblock and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will hopefully improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 09:55, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What edits do you wish to make? Note that you were blocked(not banned, which is something different) because we cannot read your mind to know that you intended to stop. 331dot (talk) 09:09, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

@331dot Ok I see I was blocked not banned, which I see the difference on wiki. I myself actually is still learning how to use wiki, to learn how to make new wiki pages, and edits for other wiki pages that contribute to a positive term. I understand what you mean by what you are saying, in order to stop people who might be lying about their intentions, but I have done edits before, so I wanted to actually contribute to more edits, to help wiki rather then go agsnsit it.

Can you give an example of a substantive edit that you want to make? (something beyond a minor change like spelling/grammar fixes) 331dot (talk) 09:43, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
An example of an edit I have found interesting to do is to fix any wiki page that has the banner on top of the wiki page that indicates that there is a problem with the wiki page. I would want to solves theses issues. I would also be happy to do other types of edits. I also would like to make new wiki pages for things that I believe should be in wiki. Snake101201 (talk) 09:48, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Also fixing sources. Snake101201 (talk) 09:50, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Please note that writing a new article(not a "wiki page") is very challenging, the hardest thing to do here, so my suggestion would be to focus on edits that you wish to make to existing articles. In this sort of situation we like to see a specific example of an edit the user would make, which demonstrates a basic understanding of relevant policies. I'm going to provide you with a process to demonstrate an edit that you would make to an article(such as addressing an issue raised by a maintenance tag). I think that would greatly help your chances of being unblocked, though you are free to decline and make another unblock request and attempt to convince someone to unblock you without seeing such an example. 331dot (talk) 09:55, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ok I have a certain problem actually. Your saying in order to gain the trust of the wiki community I must be able to understand the rules of wiki (Which is easy, and understandable), however I cannot in anyway edit articles in my current situation because I am blocked from all editing aspects including source editing, so I am not sure what you mean in the context your explaining to me. Snake101201 (talk) 10:04, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
The process provided above allows you to demonstrate a substantive edit that you would make to an article. You perform those actions on this page. 331dot (talk) 10:07, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Oh ok, I understand on my page. Snake101201 (talk) 10:09, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ok, one more thing you want me to write the changes to an article in the "new section", of my talk page? Snake101201 (talk) 10:25, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
The instructions assume that you just click "edit" at the top of this page, but you can also use "new section". 331dot (talk) 10:27, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
ok. Snake101201 (talk) 10:28, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ok I am understood most of what it says, to fully underatnd what it is saying, is it asking me to copy the content, and publish the changes on here, so I can show you what I will change in the "read" section, of my talk page? Snake101201 (talk) 10:47, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I am also in the middle of doing the process I just need a bit more clarfitcation so I can do it corrrectly. Snake101201 (talk) 10:48, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Larry Garron

edit

Lawrence Jr. Garron (May 23, 1937 – September 13, 2019)[1] was an American professional football player. Larry Garron was born in Marks, Mississippi, where as a young child, he's parents spreated, his mother worked at the local Corn Products Refinery to support the family while Garron kept an eye on his siblings, and made sure that household chores were done.[2]

Larry Grarron attended the American Patriots football team in Western Illinois University,[3] where he stayed in the football team, from 1960-1968, and finished his career with 2,981 rushing yards, which ranks ninth on the team's all-time list.[4] He holds the record for the longest run in franchise history -- 85 yards, against Buffalo on Oct. 22, 1961.[5]

Larry Graaon died in 2019, at the age of 82.[6]

Note 1: Copied content from Larry Garron; see that article's history for attribution

Note 2: I am going to improve this arcitle as proof to get unbanned

Note 3: I have changed the article I edited it, please check both and comapre if I have done good.

Note 4: I know the wiki sources are mostly good expect for the last part, because I am still trying to understand how to use it in source editing, as I am use to visual editing sources.

Request reason:

Your reason here: Please check above to understand the context, of me trying to get unbanned, by editing a wiki article, as proof to get unbanned. My edits may or may be seen as poor, but only because I got a small sample, because I am still a new user trying to understand wiki. Please don't be too harsh, as if I get unbanned I can improve my skills on wiki to contruibe wiki postiveley. Also if their is anything to improve on please tell me.

Decline reason:

The phrase "where as a young child, he's parents spreated" does not improve this Wikipedia article. Also, saying that someone did chores as a child is not really encyclopedic. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:28, 14 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

@NinjaRobotPirate I improved the style, and voice of the wiki article, and I included any information as an encyclopaedia, can you explain further on what you mean? Also could you recommend me any wiki article I could improve on that would prove I can be unblocked in wiki?
