20 minute song

ok, look, i admit my "20 whole minutes" thing was just a cheap shot; a gut reaction to something that made me scoff... and i'm no regular editor with a username and all that -- and i definitely don't know all the minutiae of wikipedia policy-- but it seems to me that "only 20 minutes" violates npov. i'm not going to edit the page anymore, so do what you will with this, but when i read that sentence the implication was "It only took him 20 minutes to write the song [because he's such a great songwriter and/or writing about such a righteous subject.]" even just dropping the word "only" and leaving the rest intact would make for a considerably more neutral read... but again i'm just some drunken nobody with a temporary vendetta against toby keith (a vendetta with which, i'm already bored, really), so if CBS and freerepublic.com say that writing a pop song in 20 minutes is some majestic, inhuman feat, i guess it is...75.118.201.157 (talk) 13:00, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

I don't think it should be a NPOV issue if a reliable source confirms it, it's not really the same as saying that it's some majestic, inhuman feat, but someone else has removed the word and I don't mind it that way. I wouldn't have done anything at all if you'd just removed the word yourself. smtchahaltalk 13:25, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
