New title for this article

edit

This article currently has a PROD tag on the basis that it is a non-notable concept. I personally feel the concept is notable; I have read a lot of books and published articles on the topic over the years, and I have used my knowledge from them as the basis for the article.

The information contained here is not original research. I placed the {{construction}} tag here while I am busy Googling and trying to identify which articles make the best references.

I plan to remove the deletion tag by Friday this week.

I do believe that this article can benefit from a better title that is more objective and encyclopedic. I would like to see some suggestions.Hellno2 (talk) 23:48, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

There's already a used car article. This material might be better placed there instead. Most of your sources would lean more toward "used car" than "old car" anyway. Think it over. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 01:38, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
I do have each article listed in the "see also" section of the other. But I do believe they belong separate, because an old car is one that is up in age, and may have its original owner, but a used car is one that simply was previously owned by someone else, regardless of its age. I have thought that perhaps "Vehicle age" may be a good title for this article. This way, it can describe at a NPOV the impact a vehicle's age has on the vehicle and its owner.Hellno2 (talk) 15:12, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Today, I am removing the deletion tag for this article, but leaving the construction tag as I spend more time on improving it. My plans within the following week are to consider renaming it to a more objective title (hoping for more suggestions), adding more references, and reorganizing the material.Hellno2 (talk) 15:48, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikibooks?

This looks like something that might be appropriate for Wikibooks if geared correctly and given an appropriate location. Just maybe... --Emesee (talk) 09:13, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
