Warning... edit

Oh editors, hear me! I bring to your ken,
Smartjason's sad story, heed it, oh men!
He added a jingle to several pages,
Now his story is one for the ages.

He though Wikipedia his playground for verse,
His situation soon went from bad to worse.
His nonsense was cute but not wanted here
His user account was seen to disappear.

They banned him, they blocked him,
They killed his IP.
They wrote his name in the blocked-user log
With the fatal legend: "Attention hog".

Poor Smartjason! Dropped out in pain!
Disappeared and never seen here again,
Banned for life, for life and a day,
All because he had nothing to say.

Seriously, though, we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so don't vandalize our articles. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). If you need my help to show you the place around and welcome you properly, and start a good and enjoyable editing career, please drop me a message at my Talk page. Have a nice day!Phaedriel - 03:01, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
