Thank you for keeping Wikipedia updated on the changes in Slovakia with regards to LGBT rights. It received almost no attention in (LGBT) media, especially compared to e.g. the Croatia referendum, so I'm happy that someone takes care of updating Wikipedia on what is happening in a particular country. I wanted to use the "thank" feature but I didn't want that to be mistaken for liking the actual changes :) <POV>It is unfortunate that a so-called social-democratic party does something like this.</POV> Regards, SPQRobin (talk) 19:56, 4 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

You are welcome. :) You are right, there was almost no attention for constitutional amendment on same-sex marriage ban in media. During the past few months, the situation in Slovakia has changed. Some activists has collected over 400,000 signatures to hold referendum on "the protection of family" (a ban on LGBT adoption, registered partnership and other forms of cohabitation). However, the President of Slovakia asked the Constitutional Court to review the proposed questions. It will be interesting to see, what it will happen. You are right about "social-democratic" party. Thank you again. :) Regards, Slovakmatthew (talk) 23:56, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
