Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. I've removed the spamlinks to graphicaudio; I seem to recall problems with this site being spammed in the past. Should this become a recurrent issue, I (or another administrator) may be forced to add graphicaudio to our spam blacklist. Not only will the site then be barred across Wikipedia, but by other organisations that use our list. This could, unfortunately, adversely affect both graphicaudio's site ranking in search engines and its web traffic. Thank you. EyeSerene^talk 20:00, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Re GraphicAudio

Thanks for your note. The reason I removed your edit is that it was overly-promotional in nature - bascially it came across as advertising for that particular audiobook. It also contained some rather speculative material: "This sets Graphic Audio apart from most other audio books. Averaging 7-8 hours per Installment, it is favored by over the road truck drivers." This may be true, but to support that statement in an article we would require independent reliable secondary sources that show that it's true - see WP:V for our verifiability policy. As I mention above, Wikipedia has had some problems with graphicaudio being spammed to the extent that a number of concerns have been reported at various administrator noticeboards over the years, and it seemed to me that a similar situation was arising again. Thank you for clarifying that this wasn't your intention, though I hope you can understand why I came to the conclusion that I did. It's certainly not my intention to devalue your contributions; I'm sure you're right that other articles contain similar links. However, these too may be inappropriate and, if so, they will eventally be removed. I see no problem with noting that Deathstalker (or any other book) has been released in various audiobook formats, but it should be done neutrally (ie without extolling the virtues of any particular brand or seeming to give one release more prominence than others).
