Speedy deletion nomination of Ashra Kwesi

edit

A tag has been placed on Ashra Kwesi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Removing Speedy at Ashra Kwesi

edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with Ashra Kwesi. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 18:55, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Fully-illustrated

edit

A tag has been placed on Fully-illustrated requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 20:31, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Www.gilessparrow.com

edit

A tag has been placed on Www.gilessparrow.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Hi. There is no need to write separate articles on the website addresses of publications; the links are already on those particular articles and few would come looking for the website link as opposed to an article on the publication. Thanks. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 20:31, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Answers to your questions elsewhere.

edit

Hello! I noticed you asking another editor a few questions, however they are currently only semi-active thus I will answer them briefly here.

  • Firstly, to sign your name in a way that it makes a link to your page, and adds the date/time, use four tildes at the end of your message. These look like this: ~~~~.
  • Secondly, for help creating articles, see the pages Wikipedia:Your_first_article, and Wikipedia:Article development. Key policies that may lead to article deletion are the Wikipedia:Notability policy, and the Wikipedia:Verifiability policy. It is important that all information we provide is sourced, as we do not permit original research.
  • Thirdly, in order to combat vandalism, simply use the undo tool in the history page to quickly undo vandalism. Be sure to use an informative edit summary if the edit is not blatant vandalism. Past that, if you want to actively patrol to prevent vandalism, watch the "Recent changes" page which is listed on the side bar, just beneath the logo. You may also wish to apply for WP:Rollback, but you would need some experience to show that you are suitable to use the tool.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask me or any other editor further questions, or use the {{helpme}} tool to summon a user to your page to answer questions you may have. Happy editing, --Taelus (talk) 23:49, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Re. your question

edit

Hi. Per my last message, it was deleted as a copyright violation. Most of what you posted came right off of the Amazon.com description. With all due respect, you should brush up on some of this site's basics. I and others will be glad to help you. Take a look at WP:YFA and WP:MOS to get started and feel free to leave word on my talk page. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:30, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
