Response to comment on DragonflySixtyseven's talk page
editThe article was tagged for deletion by a different user, not by Dragonfly. There are a huge number of spam articles created every week, so it is not unusual for them to be promptly tagged and deleted; I don't think Dragonfly did anything objectively wrong. I undeleted the article so you have more time to improve it. Try to find some third-party sources that discuss the company. If there are no such sources, then Wikipedia probably shouldn't have an article on the company. The article isn't tagged for deletion at the moment, but if no sources are provided it probably will eventually be tagged again. — Carl (CBM · talk) 01:04, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for the clarification
editI appreciate the clarification. My main concern was the speed with which the article was removed. I had even followed the guidelines for contesting the spam designation. It appeared to be a rather summary execution. I addressed this problem on Dragonfly's talk page because that was the only name indicated in the deletion log. I can find a significant number of third-party references that talk about this company and will do so promptly. Your feedback is appreciated. I only wish that this was the initial response. You have restored my faith in the process. If after some due diligence is done on my part, the article is still reasonably viewed as inappropriate, I will feel that it has had its chance.

A tag has been placed on User:RobertMfromLI/InfoPrint Solutions Company, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. creffett (talk) 18:20, 12 June 2019 (UTC)
