Hey Sj, finally something that got me to create my own account instead of just randomly editing now and then... Anyway, I'm using the talk page cos I think that this proposal looks excellent, and yay... One concern is that I think some of your cost estimates (mainly for hotel, b&b, dorm room housing) are possibly a little too optimistic for summer months. But I can get you dorm price info soon, and group rates booked in advance might be good. Don't want to actively edit them on the proposal til I have more concrete numbers. Also, not sure if Ames can hold 400+ in actual seats - official capacity may be closer to 300/350, though there's plenty of *space* as you know, and poss extra chairs could be brought in. Sci Center, if we could get it, is also very valid option IMHO for its closeness. Lastly, video stuff could be done from, say, Ames to Morgan Courtroom or even one of the rooms in Pound, from Pound to other rooms, etc. - EricaG

Ahh, thank you :) This is definitely just an estimate; my guesses are largely from eyeing rooms; which may be well over what the fire marshal and others think. Will get photos up soon. My dorm-rate estimate was from a summer camp counselor I talked to; maybe not the most reliable source. I didn't estimate room fees at all, yet. +sj + 21:17, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
