Are u there? I'm got a notice that you dont approve of my adjustment of the 15M to 500+B in today's dollars. It is not my opinion but the opinion of scholars with far more credible credentials than mine. There r plenty of reasons why it might need to be adjust a bit, plus or minus 20 or 30B, but I believe the new price is a far better indicator of the purchase COST to Jefferson, and it's benefit to Napoleon!?
