Jalandhar edit

Please note that this article is an encyclopaedia entry not a tourist advertisement. It is not not a directory and therefore should not have long lists of schools and hospital addresses. Nor should it have lists of spam promoting local bakers, McDonalds or KFC. Information needs to be sourced with reliable references and valid tags should not be removed until the problems have been resolved. Images are set at a default image size designed so that all browsers can read the articles. If you set all the images at 350px many viewers will not be able to clearly read the work on their screen. In short, there are a set of guidelines that we follow when editing. Please help to improve the article by adding solid sources and respecting the guidelines. Wikipedia is a collaborative project where editors work together to improve articles. If you wish to query the edit, please join the discussion on the article talk page. Thank you.   Please discuss any changes you wish to make on the talk page of Jalandhar. Your reverts will be taken as disruptive edits as they do not meet any of the guidelines. 11:09, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

This is your final warning. If you continue with your disruptive edits you will be blocked. Span (talk) 09:18, 28 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

August 2012 edit

This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at Jalandhar, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Wikipedia is not a directory and is not to be used for advertising purposes. If you add that list of bakeries etc again, you will be blocked from editing. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72hrs for repeatedly adding unsourced trivia, removal of maintenance tags, and generally messing up the format, as you did at Jalandhar. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
