January 2014 edit

Hello, I'm Ishdarian. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Proxy server, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Ishdarian 08:42, 13 January 2014 (UTC) Hi Ishdarian, I had added the link to SafeSquid Proxy server, because I think it is a very important reference quite like Wingate. Unfortunately SafeSquid does not have a page on Wikipedia, so I had to add an external link. SafeSquid has a very important significance due to multiple reasons, relevant to the overall article. Let me share some of them here: It is an HTTP/1.1 Proxy server completely adhering to RFC2616 standards. It is popularly used as a Web Filtering Proxy, thus is a fine example for the reader to relate to the point made about web filtering in the article. It is a fine example of Multi-Threaded software. It's specially built to render identical experience on *Nix and Windows Platforms, proving one of the oldest points made by C/C++ software developers that these two apparently diverse platforms can have similar software, and that too running as native applications. I can go on, but really don't want to bore you. Really wish you revert that change. Simplyme777843 (talk) 14:12, 21 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. Please stop adding SafeSquid everywhere here. There is no such article since it has been deleted multiple times for being non-notable, and the draft (Draft:SafeSquid) you recently created shows no notability (by Wikipedia's standards) whatsoever, and will be rejected. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 14:21, 27 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello Thomas. I am still learning this. Please be patient. The the draft (Draft:SafeSquid) is still under construction. Hope to complete it soon. I edited some pages to include SafeSquid because no other editor bothered to research enough and include it. Could you be kind enough to guide and help me avoid any mistakes? August 2017 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at SafeSearch and YouTube, you may be blocked from editing. Warning for adding links to non-notable software (article deleted multiple times for lack of notability) on multiple articles.Tom | Thomas.W talk 14:25, 27 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Hi Thomas.W I only put the information, that I believe is relevant, factual, and true. What makes you think it is not? Simplyme777843 (talk) 14:53, 27 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
