Thanks for your expertise on sake. JohJak2 07:48, 6 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Late, better then nothing. Thank you for your welcome JohJak2. Let’s make the English sake articles as good as the Dutch. Also the grapes which are used for wine making need some update en refresh ness. Best regards Sake-simon 21:57, 12 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, you seem to have managed to get permission from several organizations for nice photos on Wikipedia, such as on the sake page. I've found one or two I'd like to get permission for too; mainly for the Shōchū article. Can you tell me how you approached them (assuming you did the approaching) and what you do with the permission mail/letter? Thanks! Hi Akihabara I transferred your message to my discussion page. I did not see your question, because I only watch my discussion page. The answer is however just writing them, mail them. Tell them what you are doing; most of them are open because it’s also advertising for their products. For me and my contacts it’s different. I sell sake, promote sake, import sake that’s why I get these pictures more easily .Sake-simon 03:12, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, yes, I meant it to be on this page. Do you mail them in English or Japanese? Akihabara 04:55, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hi Akihabara, depends on which company. Almost all big breweries have english staff, middle size sometimes, but they hire english translaters for say once a month a day, the small; Japanese only. Keep your confirmation letter, if anyone later asks Sake-simon 12:13, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
