Proposed deletion of High School Horror (2010 film)

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article High School Horror (2010 film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Unsourced article on film to be released in 2010. No outside sources found to verify existence of this project; if this project was in production or close to that stage, there would be something online to back up the claims in this article, especially with a reasonably high-profile cast.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of Haylie Duff (album)

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Haylie Duff (album), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Unsourced article on future album. It could be considered as Crystal ball speculation; however, the album is supposed to be released in a few months and there are no outside sources found to back up the existence of this particular project, which seems highly unlikely if the project existed

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Garry Hobbs. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. Proposed deletion of Lonely Night (film)

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lonely Night (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Notabilty concerns at the very least about a future project that, despite being a John Carpenter project and consequently (indubitably, because of his stature) going to be notable, has no outside sources either provided (or found) that would verify anything in this article. For example, while IMDb isn;t technically a reliable source, it is highly unlikely that John Carenter's IMDB entry wouldn't mention this article, as it does mention other 2009 projects. The subject of this article is conspicious by its absence

Sourcing material

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Shenae Grimes, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 21:44, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stop creating articles about future films

edit

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball or a collection of unverifiable speculation. All information about anticipated events must be verifiable as certain to happen. For films this means that the film has begun filming. Please do not add information about future events to articles or create articles about films that have not begun production. Thank you. Stop adding future films to filmographies

edit

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here an not accuse you of disruption, but the crystal ball warning above also applies to filmographies. Don't add to filmographies unless there is a verifiable source that filming has begun. Ward3001 (talk) 06:09, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Future films

edit

I've noticed that you've started creating pages for future films. You may want to read the notability guideline for future films, which basically says that a film page should only be created under 2 conditions: 1) The film is released (in which case it still has to pass the notability guideline, but it's given more leeway on how long it has to satisfy that guideline. 2) The production of the film is notable itself. That means that the film has to be in the filming stage, and that there has to be enough information on it to warrant separating it out from a parent article.

I've also noticed that you've been adding rumored films or rumored cast information to articles. Wikipedia does not allow rumors, unless they are being discussed in a history way (e.g. It was rumored that terrorists were going to attack the World Trade Towers, but no one did anything about it). Wikipedia also requires that all things be verified by reliable sources. If a source is using an "inside scoop" or "someone close to the film", then it is considered unreliable, and should not be used as a source.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 15:21, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

You have been accused of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sidneyandrewsmancini. Thank you. 90210 -- Conrad

edit

Hi. Per Wikipedia:Verifiability, we are not supposed to claim something without having a source to prove it. Please do not claim that Lauren Conrad will be appearing in 90210 unless you have a source. The edit note within the article -- which you either missed or chose to ignore -- provided proper instructions regarding this. Thank you. --James26 (talk) 04:59, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
