Hi. It is my understanding that the places which you are identifying as being part of Lancashire are now part of Greater Manchester. Wikipedia should reflect the current status of these places first and foremost. I would suggest adding a caveat saying that these places are part of historic Lancashire instead of replacing the (correct, current) information in the templates. --Dynaflow babble 06:10, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
