Welcome!

Hello, Shula, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

(The paragraphs above are automatically generated.) Thanks for your contribution to Lumangwe Falls and the photo. I presume it's yours, it needs to be tagged with the info that you give free use. Let me know if you want assistance with this, it's not a very user-freindly system. Leave a message on my talk page. Re the Kalungwishi Bridge, is the road now tarred between the Kawambwa Tea Plantation turn-off and Mporokoso, or still laterite? By the way, there are a couple of Kasama-related articles which need updating or expansion -- the one on Kasama itself and the one on the Chitimukulu. If you can help that would be welcomed. Shula: I have added the required information and tags to your Lumangwe Falls image. I am not a complete expert on this, I only learnt about it myself a few weeks ago. If you look at your image file now (click here) you'll see two panels, one with the basic info about you having taken it and one giving the "GNU" licence details. These panels are generated by this code:

{{Information
|Description=Lumangwe Falls, Zambia, in the dry season.
|Source=User:Shula
|Date=Sept 2006
|Author=Robert Shula Mutale
|Permission=Yes
|other_versions=
}}
{{self|GFDL|cc-by-2.5}}

So with your next image, follow this procedure:
1) Select and copy the code as it appears above (don't copy it in the "edit this page" window because I've used extra tags to stop the code activating on this page).
2) Click 'upload file' and paste the code into the form, into the box called 'Summary'.
3) Modify the description of the image to fit the new image, and the date.
4) Follow the rest of the directions on the upload page.

One other point: You might consider uploading the next image to Wikimedia Commons instead of Wikipedia. This puts it in the Commons library and makes it easily available to other articles. Wikimedia Commons is a sister project but operates separately. You'll have to set up an account (you can use the same username/password as Wikipedia). The process for uploading is essentially the same but Wikimedia Commons lead you through some questions first to determine whether the image is your own. Let me know if I can assist with anything else. Regards, Rexparry sydney 22:19, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
