Personal attacks and socking

edit

First, under now circumstances are you allowed to attack other editors as you did to Sitush at Talk:Yadav. Feel free to criticize what is in the article, to suggest improvements and changes, and, if you become a confirmed editor (10 edits to articles, 4 days later), then edit the article directly. Do not comment on other editors, imply negative things about them or their motives, etc.

Second, please disclose what previous accounts you have edited under. No one could possibly make their first edit to the talk page of an article and have an intimate knowledge of another editor's behavior unless xe had previously been involved with the article, or recruited off site. Please note that editors are not allowed to operate more than one account except for specific circumstances, and they certainly may not do so to make personal attacks and avoid scrutiny. I suppose you could be an editor who previously edited as an IP, which would explain your familiarity, but, of course, would not permit the personal attacks.

I suppose I should be clear, too--if you continue to make personal attacks against other editors, you will be blocked. Period. Qwyrxian (talk) 23:00, 12 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
