Bokuyokan

edit

I started a Bokuyokan page, for you to work with if you should so choose.

I included a controversy section because people will post things here if it is not mentioned and it is better to mention the existance of such things than to wait for more emotionally charged posters to get their knickers in a twist. I myself believe that the Bokuyokan or any other organization which descends from a teacher who trained and graded under a legitimate teachers should be acknowledged and have no opinion about the Yonezawa's gradings. However it is better to mention them as there is no way that people who read AikiNews/Aikidojournal.com will fail to.

Feel free to make additions/corrections as you see fit within Wiki rules. They take a little getting used to but if you post in their encyclopedia you have to follow their rules. I, myself, find the Japanese name order rule to be quite awkward at times. For example, in an article on Daito-ryu, one is required to write Takeda Sokaku but Tokimune Takeda based upon the year in which they were born. It is odd that there is nothing similar for, say, Korean names. I also had to remove all the martial arts titles from the first couple of articles I wrote. You get used to it though.
