Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Hut 8.5 06:27, 25 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

See Wikipedia:External links. The site adds very little value to the articles, especially as it currently consists solely of a forum - the fact that a website is relevant to a subject does not mean it should be linked to. In addition, you introduced the link indiscriminately to a large number of pages in a very short space of time, so it looks like you are trying to promote the website. Wikipedia is not here to do that. Hut 8.5 06:46, 25 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles: Rollcall

edit

At WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles, we recently did a purge of the members list, which your name was on. Please re-add your username as well as your area of expertise at our list of participants if you plan to stay active in this Wikiproject. Also, a discussion is going on regarding the standardization of taxonomy in lizard articles, located in this section. We'd like to have some more voices in this matter. Thanks everyone! bibliomaniac15 23:19, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
