I am wondering why you reverted my edit to remove the links in the Collodion and if you have read WP:EL. Links to blogs, commercial sites, and personal sites are not the purpose of Wiki links - Wikipedia is not a link farm. As you reverted this edit without discussion, I will remove them again if I don't hear your reasoning in a reasonable period of time. TheMindsEye (talk) 15:56, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I added the links because I thought they might be useful to a user researching the process. If you really object, go ahead and remove them.

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Quinn Jacobson has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. I hope you will take this in a spirit of my trying to be of positive assistance. Your arguments in this AfD have persuaded me that we see transient fame here instead of notability. That's good use of argument.

I wanted to drop you a note to say that I think, while you were perfectly civil, you might have been more restrained with your demolition of the arguments in favour of keeping the article. That you seem to know your stuff is not in dispute, I would just hope for a little less 'edge' to it.

I'm making this observation as a bystander, albeit an interested bystander. I would not have liked to be the editor whose arguments you demolished. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 14:55, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair enough. I'm pretty sure I'd have shown more restraint had the arguer not flat out suggested I hadn't read the research I'd done - seemed to call for a bit of a wake up. But I take your point. Thanks. Shelly No (talk) 17:10, 25 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
