Hi there, the term Spurtnip is a genuine slang term used in East Anglia region of UK. Why is this being deleted? thanks for your time.

A new word that one person or a small group of people have made up and are trying to make catch on is a neologism, and isn't acceptable at Wiktionary. Take a look at Urban Dictionary instead."

So, you would need verifiable sources showing that this word has become popular in general. Saying "I use it and I know a bunch of people that use it" is not verifiable. Thanks, NawlinWiki 15:44, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
