Sungale11

Serols, I further updated Sungale Group Inc page, please check again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sungale11 (talkcontribs) 19:30, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Sungale11, you deleted at first the info-box, then the aticle-name and so on. Sorry, but this is´t a update. Regards --Serols (talk) 19:46, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Can you check my last edit? I updated info-box, updated our product lines. Please check again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sungale11 (talkcontribs) 19:56, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Sungale11, no, you didn´t. This is your last edit - you deleted the company-name Sungale Group Inc. Regards --Serols (talk) 20:09, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Our company has changed name to Sungale, not Sungale Group Inc, and the owner has changed too, that's why we want to edit it. Is there any way to delete the obsolete "Sungale Group Inc" entry, and start editing with the latest information? Many thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sungale11 (talkcontribs) 22:21, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Sungale11, create a new article with the new name, cut and paste the content and create a redirect in the old article to the new one. Please use always references when you edit something. Regards --Serols (talk) 17:24, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

Fitzjames Stephen review of Froissart's Chronicles

How was this vandalism? It is an extended review by a learned 19th century scholar which adds a vast amount of information to that previously available on the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sglwp (talkcontribs) 19:34, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Sglwp, ten edits with one book - sorry, I believe this is literature-spam. Regards --Serols (talk) 19:41, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Gloria (Gregory) Hemingway

Serols

I had changed the name on the page Gregory Hemingway to Gloria Hemingway, because it was her preferred name. You deemed this edit unnecessary but I don't agree with you, as I would like to honor Gloria's wishes.
Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.235.41.34 (talk) 17:10, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
Hello 96.235.41.34, sorry, but the article-name is Gregory Hemingway. You can try to write it in the article. Regards --Serols (talk) 17:18, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

Black Rose Valkyrie not Dark Rose Valkyrie

(Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Dark Rose Valkyrie— because it did not appear constructive)

The correct Translation is Black Rose Valkyrie it even says it on the picture game cover below the Japanese Language Dark Rose is the incorrect translation Black Rose is the correct translation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.250.169.43 (talk) 00:28, 20 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello 99.250.169.43, the aticle-name is Dark Rose Valkyrie and not Black Rose Valkyrie. The only way is to create a new page with the correct name. For this, however, indicate useful references. Regards --Serols (talk) 08:10, 20 January 2017 (UTC)

Gilda (Singer) Sanctuary Coords

The coords point to the accident location where Gilda died and her followers erected a sizable shrine. By navitaging to those coords via Google you will see photos of the shrine. Totally relevant. Please stop removing the coords. Thanks!

Hello 186.108.127.131, what you are doing ist edit-war with 201.177.150.118. --Serols (talk) 08:45, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

why I can't remove the section that I created!

My edits often were removed without being restored at all, but when I removed them myself, they were restored at once! Why??? Q5968661 59.57.223.8 (talk) 15:02, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello 59.57.223.8, did you this as IP 218.85.112.28? You deleted this section as IP 59.57.223.8. Regards

Very discouraged

Hi Serols, We don't understand why adding a cited figure for the number of attendees at the Omaha Women's March on January 21, 2017 is "unconstructive." This is the first time we have ever edited a Wikipedia page and your action is very disheartening to us. We will probably never contribute to Wikipedia again because of you. It makes us feel disenfranchised, which is ironic, don't you think? PS Since we tried to post this, it was overwritten by another user and you. Very discouraging. 66.241.163.98 (talk) 15:22, 22 January 2017 (UTC)Holly and Steve66.241.163.98 (talk) 15:22, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

Hallo 66.241.163.98, this only vandalism. I think your comment is harassment. --Serols (talk) 16:45, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

Vandalism? Harrassment? I think you're got us confused with someone else. All we're trying to do is include Omaha among the list of cities, using the local newspaper as a source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.241.163.98 (talk) 23:49, 22 January 2017 (UTC) Hi Serols, I clicked on the blue arrows in your second message and see the changes a Firefox add-on made in our edit. I agree with your reversion. I'm new and took it personally. Kindest regards. 66.241.163.98 (talk) 04:14, 23 January 2017 (UTC)Holly66.241.163.98 (talk) 04:14, 23 January 2017 (UTC)

Caedes

I updated the Dunning Kruger effect page with Donald Trump as a real life example of someone who is unqualified for his position in office, doesn't realize that he is incompetent, and surrounds himself with other incompetent people. He assumes he knows more about the presidency than he actually does and doesn't understand his own incompetence.

In effect, he is the classic case of Dunning Kruger.

Identity Crisis

Thank you for your message regarding change reversals. I apologize that I was not clear explaining the reasons for the edit that possibly came across as flippant. The first section removed, "What is an Identity Crisis," contains no references/citations to confirm it as having any relevance to the article topic other than sharing a name. I'm honestly not sure which was the second section I removed as looking at it now the next two, "Identity Crisis Within the Text and Characters" and "Justice Vs. Revenge," both also contain no reverences/citations showing that the ideas stated are pulled from interviews or other articles, therefore making them personal analysis which violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. I had also removed the section "Writer: Brad Meltzer" which was reversed by someone else. This section also has no citations to show it relates to the article, as the writer has his own page and nothing in that section relates to his specific involvement with writing Identity Crisis. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.250.200.131 (talk) 15:12, 23 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello 207.250.200.131, please use at first the talk-page, before you delete anything. Regards --Serols (talk) 15:22, 23 January 2017 (UTC)

Creating Sean Ward Page

Hello Serols, I saw you reverted the Sean Ward page back. I'm pretty confused at this point, but I believe my biggest issue is stemming from the fact that "Sean Ward" is locked from creating a new page without an administrator unlocking the page?

I'm trying to make a page covering only the citable information on Sean Ward. You stated I may have made a mistake and need to use the sandbox. I'm assuming I need to add all the information that is found on the right side of Wikipedia pages with picture date etc to post it?

I'd really like to make the Sean Ward page! Your help is greatly appreciated, Cas — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caslyon (talkcontribs) 17:21, 23 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Caslyon, I have mistyped and wanted to take back. Unfortunately, you were faster, sorry. Regards --Serols (talk) 17:28, 23 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi Serols, you fixed a typo on the page however, that page now has information of an actor from Coronation street at the top and Sean Ward, a Youtuber I follow on the bottom. Now sure how to fix this... and I'm in need to unlock the page Sean Ward to post about Sean Ward the youtuber and owner of The Sean Ward Show Caslyon (talk) 17:45, 23 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi Caslyon, you can´t post the page to Wikipedia.
1. no links in the flow text
2. ask first, if youtuber are accepted
3. use infobox
4. please read this article - Wikipedia:Writing better articles - Wikipedia:FAQ/Editing

Mickelson Trail edits

Hello Serols - Thank you for the note explaining that you reverted the edit I made to the George S Mickelson Trail topic. However, I do not understand why you considered it to be non-constructive. I had listed a non-commercial, non-spam website with some extremely useful tools for cyclists who want to plan a trip on the Mickelson Trail. Please compare the website that I cited to the ones currently listed on the Mickelson wiki page, and you will see that it offers much more in-depth and interactive tools that the websites currently listed: interactive maps, more detailed service listings, interactive trip planner, discussion forum, etc. These tools cannot be found on any other websites. I cannot imagine that someone researching the trail, especially for planning a trip, would not greatly appreciate this link. Thank you, Trailhub (talk) 23:00, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Trailhub, what is the added value of your site to this site? Regards --Serols (talk) 15:31, 23 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Serols - thank you for the opportunity to further explain:

1. Trail map on the listed website is a static jpg image (http://gfp.sd.gov/state-parks/directory/mickelson-trail/map.aspx). Trail map on new website is an interactive Google map which can zoom, pan, and shows far more detail (http://www.bikemickelson.com/mickelson-map.aspx).

2. The listed site provides the names and numbers of bike rental and shuttle services (http://gfp.sd.gov/state-parks/directory/mickelson-trail/services.aspx). The new website lists the names, addresses, phones numbers of all such services along the trail PLUS ALL lodging, restaurants, groceries, etc - essential for trip planning (http://www.bikemickelson.com/towns.aspx - click any town name)

3. New site offers a discussion forum for trail users to ask questions and share info (http://www.bikemickelson.com/forum.aspx). Listed site has no such feature.

4. New site has a mileage page to easily see distances from any town along the trail to all other towns and trailheads (http://www.bikemickelson.com/mileage-chart.aspx - click any town name to reorient mileage to that town). Listed site only tells distances between adjacent towns; users must manually calculate distances between non-adjacent towns (http://gfp.sd.gov/state-parks/directory/mickelson-trail/trailheads.aspx)

5. New site has a trip-planning tool in which users can build a customized list of types of businesses and services with distances along the user-specified section of trail (http://www.bikemickelson.com/planner.aspx). Listed site has nothing like this.

Don't take this as criticism of the listed site, because it has much valuable information. But the new site adds so much in the way of trip-planning tools and data, that it would be a disservice to searchers to not offer this site as well on the wiki page. People searching for info to help plan trail rides are looking for tools like these. Trailhub (talk) 11:00, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Trailhub,
1. one can equally use google-maps
2. ok, better
3. Forum is not interesting for Wikipedia - see Wikipedia:External links
4. a little bit better
5. ok, better
You can try it again. Regards --Serols (talk) 14:48, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Serols - thanks for the feedback. By "try it again" I assume you mean it's OK to try submitting the wiki change again, which I just did. Also a clarification on point #1: the trail appears on Google maps as a thin line but only at a very close zoom level. On the bikemickelson site, the trail is a bold colored line which is very easy to find, and appears at any/all zoom levels. Again for trip planning, this is a vital difference. Thanks,Trailhub (talk) 12:17, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

Little Orphan Annie

Please stop your vandalizing of Wikipedia through re-adding material that clearly should be removed per Wikipedia guidelines. 128.151.71.16 (talk) 19:11, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello 128.151.71.16, please - you delete nothing - use the talk-page. --Serols (talk) 19:14, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
I don't have to use the talk page if the edit is obvious. Please stop pretending like you understand how Wikipedia works. Leave my edit (or whoever has tried to do it after me) alone and stop acting like you have some sort of authority. 128.151.71.16 (talk) 19:17, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
Hello 128.151.71.16, again, please use the talk-page before you delete whole sections. --Serols (talk) 19:21, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
Why? It's clear and obvious. How about you just look at the section, recognize it's unnecessary and then stop putting it back when it's deleted? 128.151.71.16 (talk) 19:23, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
I can definitely see that your suggestion to delete it has some merit, but I don't know enough to really say what is best overall, and I can also understand hesitation about removing content. All I will say is that I really think the best place for the discussion is on the article talk page, where people with an interest in the subject will see it. (To be clear, I am abstaining on the question of whether it should be deleted or not.) --Money money tickle parsnip (talk) 19:38, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
I will also be neutral. --Serols (talk) 19:42, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Tessolve

That section that was removed has been unsourced since 2014. If you want it in, may I suggest you add some references? Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 09:20, 29 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Jim1138, I do not want whole sections to be deleted without comment and the IP has been blocked. --Serols (talk) 11:38, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
It looks like the anon got a new IP deleted more and was blocked again. Some of it was outright vandalism. Too many editors don't like to leave ES nor talk. Leave it off or restore it? The article needs work. I did some cleanup. Also "wp:TAGBOMBED" (presumably justified) the article; probably won't help. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 21:10, 29 January 2017 (UTC)

Don Bacon (politician)

You recently reverted changes to Congressman Don Bacon's (NE-02) page. Please check before you make changes to Official United States House of Representatives information. As the Press Secretary for General Bacon, the edits I made to the Congressman's page highlighted his House Committee appointments. Please revert back to my correct updates to reflect appropriate factual submissions. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ebottorf (talkcontribs) 14:08, 1 February 2017 (UTC)

Political parties in Iran

Hi Serols,

you just deleted my edit about Political Parties in Iran. This article has been almost entirely written by me. If I deleted the Armenian part, it is because such an organization does not exist anymore in Iran.

Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.166.116.107 (talk) 18:41, 4 February 2017 (UTC)

Hello 37.166.116.107, you deleted the section as an IP with one edit and no comment. Dashnak is still contained in the Encyclopædia Iranica. --Serols (talk) 08:05, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

Verilog

Hi Serols, Why did you keep deleting the relevant link to Verilog? Kindly clarify. The link is totally relevant to Verilog. Why don't you delete other links? Are you the centre of the universe? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fpgatutorials (talkcontribs) 08:28, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

Hello Fpgatutorials, you are using only one link. Use links that refer directly to the appropriate page. --Serols (talk) 08:40, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I used fpgastudent to put into the external sources of Verilog page. It contains Verilog projects and tutorials for beginners. Is there anything wrong? So you think you are the center of the universe, kindly put it there in the Verilog page. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fpgatutorials (talkcontribs) 08:43, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

There is no reason to be rude. --Serols (talk) 08:48, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

You are the one who is rude here, I put the relevant link as many others did on the external sources of Verilog. Why did you keep deleting the link I added? If it is not relevant, I will not add it there. Kindly check the content of the link and if it is relevant, kindly help to add it to the source as I put before. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fpgatutorials (talkcontribs) 08:52, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

I did´t ask you if you were the center of the universe and I was not the only one. --Serols (talk) 09:08, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
Fpgatutorials was blocked because of link-spam. --Serols (talk) 11:35, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

The computer that that person, as well as myself, are/were using is a shared computer from a public school that hundreds of students used regularly.. If vandalism from here is a problem, you might want to ban/restrict this IP, and others from this school (if you can find the other Ipś of the computers here). Please don´t stop signing in with registered accounts though, I need something to do when bored, and this is more constructive than playing games. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.100.95.241 (talk) 22:49, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
