I don't think the community has ever set minimum edit counts. I'm really not sure why someone has taken it on themselves to close this, without your request, when a number of people are supporting. Yes, it is true that, unfortunately, given the manic awful mood at RfA this is likely to fail, but that's that's your choice to wait and see.--Scott Mac (Doc) 22:31, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

At 20% support, and one of them indicating that it is going to be a not now candidate, I would call that pretty conclusive that the RfA is going to be closed early. The candidate only has 1000 edits, which clearly puts him well below the range that is generally accepted. (With the exception of a German Admin, no RfA candidate with fewere than 2500 edits has passed in over a year.) If the candidate wishes to reopen his RfA, he is free to do so, but WP:NOTNOW was initiated to protect candidates from getting burned by premature RfA's that are bound to fail. If he wants to reopen it, just ask, but it will likely be closed again by somebody else, unless a clear note is placed asking for it not to be closed---but even then, it might be closed early. If you do want to reopen it, I would strongly adise reading Wikipedia:How to pass an RfA and consider revisiting your questions/nomination. Again, we close RfA's early per NOTNOW as a preventive.---Balloonman ^PoppaBalloon 22:44, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

I've reopened your RfA, which should not have been closed without your consent. Unfortunately, in the current climate, many editors are likely to oppose you for lack of experience. You might like to consider withdrawing it for now. If you want to do that, either close it yourself, or post a note on Wikipedia talk:Requests for adminship and someone will take care of it. I would strongly suggest withdrawing, my closing per NOTNOW is designed to prevent pile on opposes and having people get burnt, I fear that your RfA has the potential of getting a lot of unnecessary opposes as it has been reopened.---Balloonman ^PoppaBalloon 23:54, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Computer Security Project

Hi Sephiroth,

1) I added more fancy formatting to the WP:CSEC. Please review.

2) I suggest we create a similar Navigation structure as the Computing project. Any particular reason, other than the timing, that the Computer Security project is showing the navigation panel for the Computing project?

3) Would you be interested in discussing the categories of Computer Security ? The current list is somewhat ad hoc.

4) Regarding the tagging of the articles. Do we tag the discussion page of the article or the main page ? I believe I saw both variants used. What is the default assessment, if I simply want to tag an article?

I like the changes! thank you for your assistance. As far as the navigation, I have no idea how to create a new one, i'm all for it though, any ideas on what to put in it? I am still growing as an editor myself, and as such, you may see discrepancies with my editing style. Not a problem. I'll develop the navigation bar over the next few days. As a start, I'll simply clone their structure. Then we can tweack it further.

What is your opinion about changing the Computing tags with security=yes into Computer security tags ?

That is in progress, WP:MALW and WP:CSEC articles are being retagged. When I come out with the monthly tasks, That will be one of the first projects, idendifying all of our categories so we can send a bot through to tag them. Sephiroth storm (talk) 09:25, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Hello Sephiroth storm; first time we directly communicated :). Anyways, Ched Davis recommended me to you. I nominated Norton Internet Security for GA class; one person said yes; yet another failed it because it was comprised mostly of one sentence paragraphs, which it was, and I thought was ok. Anyways, Ched said that you are great when it comes to getting the point across. Can you look at the article while I unify NIS with NAV again; they share much of the same feature set.
