Speedy deletion nomination of File:Albert Benois.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Albert Benois.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  fetchcomms 15:01, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

What is disruptive about my edits please? Your message said it applied to my last post, which was an upload of 2 pictures to the article "Karel Dujardin", one from the National Gallery, and one from Sphinx Fine Art. The logic of your censorship defies comprehension-you have deleted some of my posts and left others. Please make clear what I am and am not allowed to post or mention in articles and I will do my best to conform to your guidelines. In the meantime, my work up till now has been rendered fruitless by your deleting...Semperparati89 (talk) 12:39, 14 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

If an image is public domain it is not courtesy Sphinx...Modernist (talk) 12:55, 14 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

That's fine, I won't put that anymore, but if there's anything else I'm doing wrong, please tell me before deleting my work and I will amend it. Semperparati89 (talk) 13:59, 14 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
