Hi, this image is being considered for featured picture status. So far, the main argument against it is that there are too many JPEG compression artifacts. I was wondering if perhaps you could upload a less-compressed version of this file (perhaps saved as JPEG 10 instead of 6 or whatever you did) and using a more descriptive name, like "Crater Lake aerial view with clouds.jpg" for example. I nominated this on Friday April 7 and it will be under consideration for two weeks. Please leave me a message on my talk page if you get this message and upload a new one.
