XD2

edit

Welcome aboard Wikipedia. As a new user, you might not be fully familiar with some of our processes and procedures here. I see that you've jumped in with both feet using the proposed experimental deletion 2 process.

The proposed technique isn't currently supported by Wikipedia policy, and tends to upset users who see it as a type of page-blanking vandalism. Please refrain from using in the future, unless the adoption of XD2 gains consensus support among Wikipedia's editors.

As an aside, I encourage you to try to make more use of edit summaries. Just fill in a brief description of the changes you make in the 'Edit summary' box at the bottom of the edit window every time you edit a page. It's a courtesy to editors who have pages on their watchlists and also to editors who watch recent changes to check for vandalism. It's particularly important to add an edit summary when you make a major change to an article—as, for example, when you want to delete the page. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 16:58, 22 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
