Plot detail does not have to be official. The verifiable content came from The Hollywood Reporter, a reliable source. Obviously, when more details come out, either from similar reliable sources or the studio itself, it will be updated accordingly. As you can tell from the article, it covers the more notable speculation by reliable sources of the plot. It does not matter whether it's true or not, just that it was perceived by reliable sources.
