Welcome to Wikipedia! edit

Dear Seat 5a: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!

Thanks for your recent changes to the NJ township article. Cheers, Itsfullofstars 18:12, 11 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Secret Series edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Secret Series, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.enidblyton.net/secret-series. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. What does your username mean? edit

Hi Seat 5a! Can you tell me what your user name is a reference to? --Chronochick (talk) 10:55, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Chronochick: It was a username that meant a lot to me at the time I first signed up on Wikipedia. I was flying back and forth between Philadelphia and Minnesota a lot, using the same airline, and they always assigned me that seat. Seat 5a (talk) 11:10, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
