Stop pasting articles in in all caps. At least create proper pagenames, e.g. Bob Dole instead of BOB DOLE. --W.marsh 15:22, 8 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Deleted pages

edit

Deleted pages. I have been deleted twice from wikipedia, on text that are truthful and consistent. can you help me with some of the deleted ones. we have reliable sources for verification if neeeded. I am just new to wikipedia and I dont seem to be doing it correctly.

the titles that have been deleted are:

I want to do something like you have for Gustavo Cisnero.

I do not know what you mean by "something like you have for Gustavo Cisnero". Also, it's hard to know what you're talking about if you do not provide exact page names. But I remember that some of those were deleted because they were advertisments, or they looked like resumes. Wikipedia cannot accept such articles. They also looked like they may have been copied from a website, which is also not acceptable. Basically, articles need to say why it/he/she matters, and should be written in your own words. See the notability guidelines for more on what is considered notable. Also, if you create any articles in the future, please do not use all CAPS. Thanks. --Fang Aili talk 20:36, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dear Fang Aili:

My apologies for the Caps. I did not know they could not be used. As to Gustavo Cisneros, what I meant is that this person who is a Venezuelan businessman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustavo_Cisneros), and is almost at the same level as Dionisio Gutierrez or the rest of the personalities I mentioned, for example, has a bio in Wikipedia. All the things I say about Dionisio and the rest can be prooved from reliable sources. Do you want me to redraft them to include sources? All of them are very important personalities of Central America. Juan Jose Gutierrez, for example, was in the cover of Businessweek recently as one of the most important CEOs for his brand Pollo Campero. Dionisio is also a journalist, as mentioned in my paper, and hosts the no. 1 show in Guatemala on Sunday evenings which is called "Libre Encuentro." Corporacion Multi Inversiones isthe largest conglomerate in Central America and the Caribbean. These papers have not been copied from any website.

If you would like me to resend you a copy of my papers for your review, I would be more than happy to do so. And if you would like me to redraft my papers to proove they are reliable facts, I would gladly do so. Please let me know.

Thanks a million!

You can go ahead and recreate them if you like. Yes, sources would be great. Just make sure you say why s/he is important, and have a look at Notability and Biographies of living persons. Let me know if you have questions. --Fang Aili talk 14:00, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
