Proposed deletion of David Kahn (designer)

The article David Kahn (designer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reasonable assertion of notability for individual WP:BIO and then article was changed to include company info but not completely deletable by Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#G11 as WP:SPAM because not all advertising. Unless some major notability assertions are made this can be uncontroversially deleted or else taken to WP:AfD.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. No, of course I'm not affiliated with the company or person in question. If I were, don't you think I'd post a lot bigger article? As I explained in the talk page, the stub came about because I thought the name in the Designer Jeans article needed a link. I have posted many, many times at Wikipedia, but thought I should create a username for creating an article. Geeze, my mistake. --Scrumpydilious (talk) 17:03, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Okay I just posted the conflict of interest for information. For the article to be kept you should add information on the person from reliable sources to establish notability, see WP:BIO. Thanks Polargeo (talk) 20:56, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

As I noted at my talk page I am trying to edit the title of the article to make it clear I am writing about the company and not the person. Can't figure out how to do that. I also edited the article to make it more straightforward as a stub.--Scrumpydilious (talk) 21:52, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Currently the article is named after the person so this is not the appropriate location. My advice would be to create the article in your own userspace (say at User:Scrumpydilious/sandbox) and then get someone to review it before putting it in the mainspace. If you are happy with deletion of the article as it stands then I will delete it and put it into your userspace for you to work on. Polargeo (talk) 21:55, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

I've already said I think the article would be sufficient as a stub if the title were changed, in which case there would be no need to delete it. Otherwise, I guess you'll do what you want. I'm not interested in having it on my user page.--Scrumpydilious (talk) 04:33, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
