Seems like you have a good idea of what to add to this article. Make sure that the sources that you used are reliable and make sure when writing that you are independent. Also make sure your sources are not bias as that may have predetermined of what they are trying to get through to the reader. It already states in the article that Albert and Lee Felts died in the shooting. I think that it is a good idea for you to put in a section about key players in the battle. Maybe add onto what their views were and what they were doing before the battle. This may give a sense of what it was like in the small town of Matewan. Could probably take out the part in the article where it says that Sid shot Testerman just to be with his wife. This has no relevance to the section and disrupts the flow of the section as well. You could add this to the section when talking about key players in the battle or even put it in the aftermath section. Can't really talk much about your balance or sources.
