Phoenix Lights edit

Hi, I noticed you keep repeatedly trying to put information about Steve Blonder and a link to a related web site, into the Phoenix Lights article. And other editors keep removing it. I know this can be frustrating. I'm guessing from what you say on your User Page and the name of your account that you are him? One issue you may be running into is the other editors may be thinking that you have a conflict of interest issue because you are personally involved. The site runs into problems all the time with people trying to write their own biographies and such, so there is a wariness about people writing material that involves themselves. (It's hard to be truly objective).

Also, Wikipedia editors are very wary of attempts to add links to personal websites because of past attempts to "spam" the encyclopedia with material like this. Wikipedia has rules about what can and cannot be used as a reliable source for an article. If you can find newspaper or magazine articles that include the information you want to add to the article, and you can cite them as a footnote in the article, your edits might go over better. There's a help page on creating footnotes that might be of use.

Another good thing you can do is to go to the conflict of interest noticeboard and just announce who you are and what you are trying to do, and someone there may be able to help you further. --Krelnik (talk) 22:36, 24 February 2012 (UTC) Done, thank you.
