Konkani Language Article

edit

Hi Savio2net, wrt your edit on the the Konkani Language article I understand that the term Goanese is incorrect and to many people it is offensive. However, it is as mentioned in Ethnologue so it would be better to keep it that way. I haven't reverted it yet.

Anyway you may be happy to know that there is a proposal with SIL to replace the term Goanese with Goan in Ethnologue.

Perhaps you may be interested in joining the Konkani Wikipedia. It is on test right now and will have to prove itself as viable before it becomes a full fledged Wikipedia. We need volunteers who will write articles.

Take a look:

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Jorge Munoz, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Taroaldo (talk) 06:13, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
