Cooking with Sas

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Cooking with Sas) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. The reason I deleted your page is because a personal cooking page isn't exactly encyclopedic. Now I hate to give you more links, but artcles need to have secondary sources (other than the home page), must be notable, and should generally not be about yourself or your website since that's a violation of WP:COI. Wikipedia:Your first article pretty much sums it up, feel free to ask me individual questions if you have any though. Darthgriz98 01:47, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sure, just remember to sign your comments. Darthgriz98 02:00, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, Sassenfrathtastic, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! . If there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know on my Chrislk02. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 02:09, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yea, there are quite a few do's and dont's. Take your time, if somebody Bites you, just ignore them. On a random note, good job trying to sign your name on the most recent post, however might i give a little insight into the signing your name thing. "Signing" your name is such a common thing done here on wikipedia, that there is a shortcut that will sign and date your posts. At the end of any post on a talk page, add the ~~~~ 4 tildes, and when you save the page, the system automatically translates it into your signature and adds the date and time to the end. PRetty neat eh? Feel free to expirement with it! -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 02:20, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it is 4, not 3. As you figured out, 3 gives you just the name. And actualy, 5 will give you just the date! Yea, dont worry about being new at it, we have ALL been there. It took me quite a while to figure it out! That is why I am glad to take the time to help others figure it out! Good luck, and remeber, if you have any questions about ANYTHING, please feel free to ask me. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 02:29, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
