Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! I have updated/corrected the wrong datum, now they are listed as having sold 100-200 million records. The page was semi-protected, which means IP editors and accounts not older than 4 days were not allowed to edit it, this is perhaps why you could not edit it. However, if you encounter this situation in the future, you can go ahead and correct the article, provided suitable sources are cited.
PS. Did you have another account which you used before and where I have welcomed you?
