I noticed your additions to agunah. Please note that Wikipedia is not primarily a directory of external links, and I feel that you are adding rather too many of them.
Would you consider improving the encyclopedia article presently in place, as well as adding reliable sources to existing content that presently has no source? JFW | T@lk 12:25, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- At this very moment, I am reviewing the encyclopedia article written on "agunah" as well as three related wikipedia articles and will indeed upgrade where needed. I am also going to add a related article. This process will take a few days. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarli2 (talk • contribs)
When editing, don't forget to add links to related articles. For example, Rabbeinu Tam would be a good candidate for linking on the grounds of his introduction of the principle of the Harchakot. See the manual of style for details. Are there online versions of the 1995 Rabbinical Courts Law? That would be a good candidate for a footnote.
Which other articles do you plan to expand? I'll gladly lend a hand. There are other contributors with an interest in Judaism communicating at WP:JEW and WT:JEW. You may even wish to consider joining the WikiProject there. JFW | T@lk 13:58, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Ok, I added the internal link on Rabbeinu Tam, along with Rambam, and Shulchan Aruch. Were there any others that I missed? Also, the Rabbinical Courts Law is in Hebrew. Should I still footnote it, even if the only available copy is in hebrew? Over the next week or two, I plan on adding an article about prenuptial agreements for the prevention of get-refusal. I could use your help and instructions in providing a link on the "agunah" page (for example in the "issues" sections in the blue box on the right side), of a separate section called "prenuptial agreements for the prevention of get-refusal," which links to the article I hope to soon create. Thank you very much for your help and input.
From the way I understand it, when I add a footnote on my article, it shows up on the bottom under "references." However, I am having difficulty in adding footnotes into the text and having it listed in the references. How do I do this?
I just submitted a new article. How long does it usually take to be accepted and posted for the public? Did I miss a "submit" in the procedure? I also would like to add some external links into the article I just added. How do I go about doing that? Thanks for your help. --Sarli2 11:40, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Sarli2
