Prior to writing this reflection piece, I created a Wikipedia page on three subjects I’ve learnt in the module Digital Cultures. I choose to speak about Liveness, Lev Manovich and Digital natives because these were the three topic’s I believe I strongly understood and enjoyed during this module. Creating a Wikipedia page to write about my experience of the academic module Media Cultures gave me the opportunity to learn how to create a page of my own on the platform of Wikipedia. My interest for using Wikipedia as a blogging platform started when my course leader told me how Wikipedia is a successful platform and learning how to use Wikipedia would benefit us in the future. Also, we could start/create a page on Wikipedia for businesses and make money from this platform. What I believe went well in this module is the lessons were planned out really well, I was able to understand exactly what I was being taught. Also, I liked the fact we had the opportunity to make our assignment questions ourselves. When I felt could be improved is the amount of activities we do. I believe activities keep us interacted with the learnings therefore the more we are told to do the better we focus and learn.
