WP:SANDBOX

edit

Please stop whatever it is you're doing in the sandbox. Sandbox is a place to experiment and make test edits, but it's obvious you're not doing that. Are you running some sort of bot? If so, you should take a look at our bot policy first. —RainFall 08:03, 22 January 2019 (UTC) Im just boredReply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Widr (talk) 08:38, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Sorry, I thought you could write anything on Wikipedia sandbox. I think Wikipedia is cool which is why I joined and I would like to add encyclopedic content because it’s fun and I like learning. I promise not to use sandbox again unless it is truly to test out edits in the future and learn more on how Wikipedia editing works. Hope I can still be part of Wikipedia. Sandywaffles (talk) 08:50, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

Per your agreement below and the blocking admin having no objection, I will remove the block. Please use the new user tutorial as discussed. 331dot (talk) 09:25, 23 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

unblock discussion

Can you give us some idea of what sort of constructive edits you'd make?-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 09:16, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I would like to go to different pages on different topics and learn more about them and add extra information I find. Not very sure exactly what page I would edit at the exact moment, but I promise I won’t go do that to the sandbox again. Just kinda blows I got banned. I thought a robot came by and removed edits from the sandbox more often. I’ll make sure to contribute to the encyclopedia when I edit and only use sandbox for learning how to format things. I’ll also try to familiarize myself with the Wikipedia policies and guidelines more.

I don't know about others, but in order to unblock you I would want to know what subjects or articles you are interested in editing, as well as an agreement to use the new user tutorial to learn more about Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 11:03, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, subjects would be mostly history and animals/nature. I will agree to use that tutorial. It’s a bit different vandalizing the sandbox page. I saw a bot that would revert the page and thought it would revert my edits. It says on it that your edits won’t stay on there and that they will be reverted.

Widr Do you have any concerns that have not been addressed? 331dot (talk) 09:02, 23 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
Seems OK. Widr (talk) 09:23, 23 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
