Help Me edit

{{helpme}} 1) am I supposed to watch pages that I like or ones that I can help with?

2) I don't know how to get my boxes in order, can someone help? Samurai Cerberus (talk) 17:51, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there!
  • You can use your watchlist to check up on any pages want to keep up to date on. Each user uses his or her differently. Many watch pages they have edited or created. For more information see Help:Watching pages.
  • I'm not sure what you mean by getting your userboxes in order? There are several ways to arrange userboxes, many of which can be found here.
Hope this helped! If you need further help with these issues or have any other questions, please feel free to leave a message here or on my talk page. Happy editing! --omtay38 18:34, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry to ask for help, but there is somthing strange in my Boxes.

While Im at it, is the Edit summary a big deal? Samurai Cerberus (talk) 23:53, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
Which boxes are strange, and where?
Re. Edit summary - yes, it's very important, because all changes to all pages are tracked, forever. this makes it easy to look back, to find out when something changed and why. It's not so important on your own user pages, but anything in mainspace - it's vital to put in a meaningful note of what you did and why. --  Chzz  ►  00:01, 24 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thare is a big box above the "This user is on a diet" box saying my page is going to be dleated. Samurai Cerberus (talk)

OK, I'm looking at that now... --  Chzz  ►  00:24, 24 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ah - I guess you figured it out yourself? It was the {{User:UBX/diet}} that was causing the problems.
Cheers! --  Chzz  ►  00:30, 24 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
P.S. Thanks for your message, that I just saw, letting me know. I'm sorry I was a bit slow fixing it, as my internet went down part-way through.
For more info about 'edit summary', you might want to read Help:Edit summary

Help Me Question edit

please help me I cannot find anything to the effect of "fictional characters by religion" unless there has never been a religious fictional character in the history of mankind. I think there should be a list like that somewhere on this website. And if there is can somebody please send a link? Smurai Cerberus 12:51, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

That list does not exist and sources would be hard to find to support it. GtstrickyTalk or C 12:55, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

May 2009 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Sims 3. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Consensus with the talk page is to keep it - you have reverted it three times. Once more, and you will be reported. Broken warning message in deviantART article edit

Why did you revert my reversion of Animelover1010101's edit to DeviantArt? The warning comment now doesn't make sense (Please refrain from creating DeviantArt accounts!?), and Animelover1010101 appears to be simply a trouble-making newbie. I don't want to start an edit war. --Imroy (talk) 22:38, 8 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why the revert on Naturism ? edit

The article on Naturism has a segment that states "Nudism is often practiced in a person's home or garden, either personally or with members of the family". So I added a photo of a person nude sunbathing on a patio deck (home or garden) where that statement is located in the article, and you reverted it almost immediately. Why? NightFlyer (talk) 14:38, 25 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I said so

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
