For this you need references that are reliable, substantial and independent of the artist. The artists own writings are primary sources. You can use them to confirm uncontroversial facts, but they do not show any notability in themselves. The festival and record label sites are not independent of the subject either, as they are promoting the products and are closely connected. Wikipedia is not counted as reliable source. If there is press coverage in the UK, then this is good and may show notability if there is enough of it. Press releases are not independent though. A one line mention is not enough but two articles on the project or artist will get you over the line of notability. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 20:32, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
