A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Saint John Mary International School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Saint John Mary International School. Please read the transcript of the discussion that has been preserved at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saint John Mary International School. This is the transcript of an Articles for deletion process; the rules with respect to Articles for deletion processes can be found at WP:AfD. Regardless of how many cheerful notes you send people telling them how anxious you are to improve the article, this article cannot be recreated. It's against the rules for it to be recreated. This is not a matter of personal preference for anyone, including administrators; it's a matter of Wikipedia policy.

If you want to have this article back, then here's what I recommend, because it is the ONLY way to get this article back in Wikipedia: (1) go to the information about the Wikipedia process called WP:Deletion review, read that information and understand it; (2) start the WP:Deletion review process with your article, making sure that you have actually done something to change the article to meet the reasons why it was deleted as part of the WP:AfD process (that's why I recommend you go and read Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saint John Mary International School, to find out why it failed AfD). If the article passes deletion review, it will be back; if it fails deletion review, it will be gone forever.

Please note that there is no point in asking people to intercede for you and bring this article back. Bringing the article back is against the rules. An admninstrator who sees the article, and realizes that it has failed an AfD process, is required to delete it immediately. Asking people to intercede for you is disrespectful to the members of the Wikipedia community who took the time and trouble to comment on the AfD process; the community has been asked for its opinion and has given it.

If you have any questions about Wikipedia policy, you can leave me a note AT THE BOTTOM of my talk page -- not at the top, as you've been doing -- and I will try and answer policy questions. Asking for me to take a personal hand in the outcome of any deletion process will be a waste of your time and mine. I trust this is clear. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm trying to make sure that you understand that you have only a single path of options available to you, and no other path will be worthwhile, so I'm essentially trying to ensure that you don't waste your own time or anyone else's. That path is deletion review. Please, read up on it, learn what it means, then undertake it if you care to. Accounting4Taste:talk 03:09, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
