  • Page 49 says Azikiwe lived with his grandmother in Onitsha until 1915.
  • He went to the west to live with his parents after his father was transferred to Lagos.
    • He started his education from 1915 to 1918 in an elementary school in Lagos. He returned to Onitsha and finished his primary education in March 1920.

  • At about seventeen years, he left after four months to Lagos, where he continued at Methodist Boys' High School until September 1921.
